Icebrim

Our story

Built for the days that don't wait for a convenient time.

Icebrim started with a straightforward frustration: cooling caps for migraine relief already existed, but the ones we tried kept failing in the same three ways. They didn't fit properly around the nose and eyes. They warmed up within minutes of leaving the freezer. And the ones that did stay cold were often uncomfortably, painfully cold to put on in the first place.

None of that is a small thing when you're in the middle of a migraine, a tension headache, or a hot flush that's arrived without warning. You don't want to fight with a product at the exact moment you need it to just work.

What we changed

We spent time understanding exactly why generic cooling caps fail — the thermodynamics of gel packs, the shape of an actual human head and face, the compression tolerance of skin that's already sensitive. The result is a cap built around a 360° contoured shape with a proper nose bridge, a gel core formulated to stay soft and cold for longer, and an even-pressure stretch fabric sleeve instead of a single tight elastic band.

Who we made it for

Icebrim is designed for anyone managing frequent migraines, tension headaches, or the hot flushes and night sweats that come with perimenopause and menopause. We hear from customers across the UK who keep a cap by the freezer door as part of their daily routine — not just for the occasional bad day, but for the weeks where relief needs to be genuinely reliable.

What Icebrim isn't

We want to be upfront: Icebrim is a comfort and self-care accessory. It isn't a medical device, and it isn't a substitute for advice from your GP. If your symptoms change, worsen, or you're relying on painkillers more than two days a week, that's worth a conversation with a healthcare professional. We built this to sit alongside good medical care, not replace it.
